Your account, and adding a young driver

For competitors and parents

Create an account as a driver or as a parent or guardian, add the competitors you look after, and find everything for your racing in one place.

Open Create an account and choose who is signing up:

Parent / Guardian
For a competitor under 18. Your own details first (as registered with Motorsport UK or your governing body), then your competitor's. Add another competitor adds a brother or sister in the same go.
Driver
You are 18 or over and racing yourself. Your details as on your competition licence.
Official / Marshal
You officiate or marshal. After the account you sign once, so your signature goes on the paperwork you sign at race meetings.

You give your name, date of birth, contact details and address, your licence authority and licence number (tick I don't know it yet if you are waiting for it), an emergency contact, your club, whether you are a novice, and your transponder numbers if you have them. Your email is also your login: results and receipts come to it.

Tip: A password must be at least 12 characters and not easy to guess. A few words together is easiest to remember.

Each young competitor has their own account, linked to yours. Their entries, results and memberships are kept on it. Until they turn 18 you look after it: you enter them in events, sign on for them and receive their emails.

  1. 1On your account, press Add driver (or Add new driver under Your drivers).
  2. 2Fill in their details. Use my details copies your name and mobile into their emergency contact.
  3. 3Tick that you are their parent or legal guardian, and press Add driver.

If it looks as if the competitor already has an account (the same email, licence, or name and date of birth), they are not added twice. Press Ask for their account to be linked to me and the team checks it and links it to you.

On their 18th birthday the account moves to them, signed in with their own email, and you stop receiving their emails. Add their own email under Your drivers (the link under their name) any time before. Without one, the account stays with you until you add it. They get an email with a button to choose their password.

Take care: Anyone 18 or over, or who already has an account of their own, should use their own account rather than being added to yours.

Your account is home for everything. If you look after other drivers, choose whose account to see under Viewing (Me or their name). You will find:

  • My race day: on an event day, one tap to the race-day page of each entry.
  • Live now: any session running that one of your drivers is in (or at a club you follow), with Watch live.
  • Enter & book and Manage: tiles for entering events, tickets, pit bays, your events, results, memberships, orders, My Kit and scrutineering cards.
  • Coming up: your entries, each with its scrutineering card when it is open.
  • Recent results, Open for entry, and Orders, tickets & passes.
  • Your details: your licence photo, your MyLaps and TAG Heuer transponder numbers (Add transponders or Change transponders) and your Competitor ID.
  • Clubs you follow and Club memberships.

Tip: Follow your clubs from Clubs: Open for entry then shows only their events.
