Enter online from the club's event page: choose the driver, class, race number and transponder, then pay. Full classes can have a reserve list.
Entering from your account
Find the event under Open for entry on your account, on Events, or on the club's own pages, and press Enter this event. Signed in, the form takes the driver's details from the account:
- 1Who is entering: you, or a competitor you look after. If a date of birth, emergency contact or licence is missing, add it to the account first.
- 2Class: each class shows the driver's age on the day and whether they fit the class, and how many places are taken.
- 3Race number: the number the club holds for the driver this season, or Choose another from the numbers still free.
- 4Transponder: the one on the driver's profile, a different number for this event, or hire one from the club.
- 5Before you pay: anything sold with the entry (some items are required), the club's questions, and the club's terms to accept.
- 6Check the Price and press Pay. You pay securely on the next page.
The bar at the bottom says what is Still needed until the entry is ready. After paying you see You're entered, with your reference and links to the entry list and your race day.
Tip: Entering someone who is not on your account? Each driver enters from their own account; a parent or guardian enters a driver under 18 from theirs, after adding them as a driver they look after.
New to GT Motorsport: create your account first
Every online entry is made from a GT Motorsport account, members and guests of the club alike (a guest is simply not a member of that club, and pays the guest price). Signed out, the entry page offers Sign in to enter and Create an account; you can choose your class first, and you come back to the same event and class afterwards.
A new account confirms its email: we email a 6-digit code to type on the entry page (or a Confirm my email button). Then, if anything an entry needs is missing (date of birth, emergency contact, licence number or that you have none yet, your address; for a driver under 18 the parent or guardian’s address), Complete my details asks for it and brings you back. Your next entry goes straight through. No place is held while you sign up. Test events work the same way, without payment.
Full classes and the reserve list
When a class is full and the club keeps a reserve list, the button says Join the reserve list. You pay nothing now and see You're reserve number N. If a place comes up, reserves are offered it in order: you are emailed that you are entered, with a button to pay (the link works for 7 days).
Closing times, late entries and paying in time
- The form shows when entries close (UK time), and any late entry fee and when it starts.
- Some clubs let you enter online for a while after closing. The form then says Entries have closed: this is a late entry, and whether a late fee is added or late entries start at the back of the grid.
- An unpaid online entry holds its place for one hour. If you don't finish paying in that time the place is released. The order page shows Pay now and how long the place is held.
- After the late window, contact the club if you still want to race.
