When the Clerk of the Course or the Stewards issue a decision about you, read it and acknowledge that you received it.
Where decisions appear
- Decisions sent to you on your race-day page, with Read and acknowledge for each one not yet acknowledged.
- An email from the club with a link to the decision. The link works for 48 hours.
- My decisions, signed in: every decision issued about you, filtered To acknowledge, Acknowledged or All.
For a competitor you look after, use their race-day page or the emailed link: My decisions lists the decisions about the person signed in.
Acknowledging a decision
The decision shows who it is about, the regulations cited, the decision and the reasons, and the official Motorsport UK decision sheet as a PDF. Then:
- 1Under Signing as, choose Driver, Entrant or Minor's Entrant (a parent or guardian for a young driver).
- 2Type your Full name.
- 3Tick I confirm I have received and read this decision and press Acknowledge receipt.
Tip: Acknowledging is a record of receipt only. It does not mean you agree with the decision.
Appeals
Appeals are made to the officials at the event, not online: speak to the Clerk of the Course or the race office straight away. When an appeal is recorded, the decision shows Appeal lodged and later its outcome.
- The link says "This link is not valid"
- Links last 48 hours. Open the decision from your race-day page, or ask the Clerk of the Course or the race office for a new link.
