The digital scrutineering card

For competitors and parents

Before the event, declare the kart and equipment you will use and sign the card; the scrutineers check against it.

The club opens digital scrutineering before the event and closes it at a set time. Open the card from the Scrutineering card step on your race-day page, or from the entry under Coming up on your account. While it is open a countdown shows the time left.

Not open yet? Get My Kit ready now.

  1. 1Under Vehicle details, each kind of equipment the class checks shows what is still needed in red.
  2. 2Press + add under a heading (for example + add chassis) and pick an item from My Kit with Use. The form fills in for you: check it, or change it for this event (tick Also save these details to My Kit to keep the change). Press Add to card.
  3. 3Or add a new item: it is saved to My Kit too, ready for next time.
  4. 4The pencil changes an item on the card; the bin takes it off (it stays in My Kit).
  5. 5When everything needed is on the card, press Sign the card, tick the declaration and sign, then Sign and finish.

The card then shows DONE with the time you signed. Update vehicle details lets you change it while the card is open: any change takes your signature off, so sign again when you have finished.

The scrutineers check your kart against what you declared. Your race-day page then shows Passed, Failed or Rectify and re-present (put it right and bring the kart back). Once cards close they can't be changed: speak to the scrutineers.

If a non-compliance report is issued, your copy appears as a PDF under the entry on your account.
